Penguin Computing Nets $9 Million Series B Round

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Penguin Computing announced that it has closed its series B financing efforts with $9 million in new investment.

The company develops and sells Linux computer cluster management software, which allows customers to manage large numbers of Linux-based servers as a single system, via load balancing and other computer sharing technologies.

Investors were new lead investor vSpring Capital, with participation from existing investors San Francisco Equity Partners, Weber Capital and Convergence Partners.
